New musical "DESAPARECIDAS" performing at Joe's Pub

Celebrating the individual lives of women in México, the musical by Jaime Lozano and Florencia Cuenca will hold an all-female performance in the classic NYC venue on Monday, March 28th, 2022 at 7:00 pm.




DESAPARECIDAS explores the systematic oppression of women in the fight to end gender-based violence and the killing of women and girls in Ciudad Juárez, México. An eclectic group of local female organizers gather for a secret rally, but when a newcomer stumbles upon their midnight vigil on the eve before her quinceañera, she is forced to envision an identity beyond her assumed fate.


Conceived by Lozano, Cuenca and Rachel Stevens and with arrangements and orchestrations by Lozano and Jesús Altamira, Desaparecidas will feature music directed by Jhoely Garay. Featuring an all female cast and band, the performers include Daphne Rubin-Vega (Rent, In the Heights film), Aline Mayagoitia (Forbidden Broadway: The Next Generation), Sonia de los Santos (Latin Grammy nominee), Majo Rivero and co-author Florencia Cuenca.


Magical and interwoven, DESAPARECIDAS celebrates the individual lives of women in México, illuminating the challenge between embracing honored cultural customs while fighting for autonomy in a dangerous world of machismo.

cakhiatv mình mới ghé thử vì thấy bạn bè nhắc hoài, tưởng đâu rối rắm ai ngờ vào cái là dùng được liền. Mình chỉ kiểu mở lên coi nhanh có dễ tìm trận đang đá không thôi, với sợ nhất là trang lag. May là load khá mượt, bấm qua lại mấy mục không bị đứng hình nên coi đỡ khó chịu. Thêm cái mình để ý là phần lịch thi đấu cập nhật nhanh, nhìn phát biết hôm nay có gì mà không phải kéo xuống mò lâu. Nói chung giao diện nhìn gọn, chữ nghĩa rõ ràng, kiểu ưu tiên cho người vào xem nhanh. Mình thích nhất là cái khung lịch thi đấu đang diễn ra…

98WIN mình thấy dạo này nhắc hoài nên cũng ghé thử cho biết. Vừa vào là cảm giác bố cục chia mảng rõ ràng, kiểu kéo xuống là gặp từng khối nội dung tách bạch nên không phải căng mắt tìm. Mình không đọc hết đâu, chỉ lướt qua phần giới thiệu thấy họ có nhắc hệ sinh thái giải trí nhiều mảng và có dòng RTP 97.2% nhìn cũng đỡ lăn tăn về độ minh bạch. Mấy tiêu đề to, dễ nhận ra đang ở đoạn nào, nên người mới như mình vào xem cũng không bị rối. Nói chung trang nhìn gọn, chữ nghĩa không nhồi nhét quá, và cách họ đặt heading theo từng khối nội dung…
