"Zyanya" is the first part of the musical triptych "Myths" (Mitos) with book and lyrics by Sara Cooper and music by Jaime Lozano. Based on the Jewish story of Lilith, first woman created by God before Eve, made at the same time than Adam; both born from the dust. It is a musical about the roles of men and women in society, about love, treason, "machismo", and search of freedom. "Zyanya" is a nahuatl word (Mexican ancient language) that means "always/forever". "Mitos" had a workshop at thel Aula Magna of the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León on December, 8th 2012, directed by Jaime Lozano. Basada en la leyenda judía de Lilith, quien fuera la primer mujer -antes que Eva-, y creada junto con Adán y de la misma manera; ambos nacidos de la tierra. Es un musical sobre los roles del hombre y la mujer en la sociedad, sobre el amor, la traición, el "machismo", la búsqueda de la libertad. La palabra "Zyanya" es de origen nahuatl y significa "por siempre". "Mitos" se estrenó a manera de workshop en el Aula Magna de la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León el 8 de diciembre del 2012. "El Ixachipul" is the first part of the musical triptych "Myths" (Mitos) with book and lyrics by Sara Cooper and music by Jaime Lozano. Based on the Jewish myth of the Behemot, ("beast" mentioned in the Bible, Job 40:15-24). It is a monologue about creation loneliness, oblivion, disdain and love to the "creator" no matter what. "Ixachipul" is a nahuatl word (Mexican ancient language) that means "very big". "Mitos" had a workshop at thel Aula Magna of the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León on December, 8th 2012, directed by Jaime Lozano. Es un monólogo musical basado en la leyenda judía de el Behemot, (bestia mencionada en el Libro de Job 40:15-24). Es un monólogo sobre la creación, la soledad, el olvido, el desprecio y el amor al creador a pesar de las circunstancias. La palabra "Ixachipul" es de origen nahuatl y significa "muy grande".
